Introduction More often than not, most new tax staff join an accounting firm with only theoretical knowledge of tax computation without any working experience of how to prepare and file tax returns. Most of the time they would ask their superiors – “How Do I Start??”
It is essential that they be equipped with basic working knowledge and skills to perform their tasks effectively and be relatively independent to prepare basic tax computation and ask the RIGHT questions to clients. This is not only beneficial to the new staff, but also to the firm as the quality of the work performed will be enhanced.
